The IRNASA-CSIC team remains active in the development of the AfterLIFE plan of the LIFE Mycorestore project, with two lines of work carried out during the first week of March 2025 at the demonstration plots.

On one hand, soil samples were collected at the plots of La Alamedilla, El Cubo de Don Sancho, Linares de Riofrío and Valdelosa, with the aim of analysing them from a physicochemical standpoint and monitoring soil microbial communities through PLFA profiles.

On the other hand, the IRNASA-CSIC team carried out the monitoring, cleaning and maintenance of the biodiversity boxes at the El Cubo de Don Sancho and Valdelosa plots. In this way, as in previous years, the various nesting species of insectivorous birds, bats and beneficial hymenoptera will be able to contribute to the control of the Cerambyx welensii oak borer and the Coraebus undatus cork oak pest.
