Result in MycoControl
- A diagnosis of the state of the tree stands under study has been carried out by UVa. For this purpose, dendrometry data were collected and drone flights were made with multispectral cameras that allowed us to evaluate their state of health.
- UVa has isolated more than 300 fungi from tree tissue samples from the sampling area, identifying and laboratory testing native fungi useful for integrated disease and pest control in the work areas, finding:
- A fungus with entomopathogenic power from the Valdelosa area to combat the insect pest Coraebus undatus.
- A fungus with entomopathogenic power from the Valdelosa area to combat the insect pest Cerambyx welensii.
- A fungus capable of reducing the growth of the pathogenic fungus Cryphonectria parasitica on plates in laboratory tests and of reducing the adverse effects of the pathogen on plants in greenhouse test conditions, for the Linares de riofrio area.
- A fungus capable of reducing the growth of the pathogenic Oomycete Phytophthora cinnamomi on plates in laboratory tests and of reducing the adverse effects of the pathogen on plants under greenhouse test conditions, for the area of La Alamedilla.
- Comparative study of the fungi found with entomopathogenic capacity with respect to commonly used commercial varieties.
- Diagnosis and identification of the Oomycetes present in the diseased areas compared to those in the healthy areas.
- Diagnosis and identification of the fungal microbiome present in the diseased areas compared to that of the healthy areas.
- Analysis and evaluation of the evolution of the fungal microbiota of healthy and diseased trees before and after inoculation with fungi antagonistic to the problem diseases in each zone, as well as the addition of mycorrhizal fungi and limestone amendments.
- UVa has been in charge of preparing a socioeconomic report on the performance of the project partners, the benefits received by them and for the society thanks to the work carried out. Likewise, this report has evaluated the social perception of the project through questionnaires.
