On January 31st & February 1st 2020, LIFE MyceoRestore partners Cerdeira Home for Creativity, Social Forest, ID Forest & Mycelio met at Cerdeira, Portugal. Cerdeira shared information about the history of the area and the provisional outcomes of their study of the surrounding forests. Showing around the terrain and forests, an assessment was made of existing tree and fungi species, forest density, forest fire history, water holding capacity, pathogen and pest issues. Based on this, various sites and techniques for possible project actions were identified. Collected information was further compiled into a preparation plan for Cerdeira.
