Circular economy in practice at Mycelio substrate plant

As part of the preparations of the MycoRestore substrate plant, it was decided to contract the obsolete premises of the Mas Rajols farm, not too far from where we produce the mushrooms. Some barns of this farm were previously used for housing animals, but have been empty for years. In exchange for a modest rent, we can make our substrate production plant here. This way we are able to realise a wonderful example of circular economy by giving new life to these buildings, generate local employment and add value to the wood waste from the forests around Mas Rajols. The only problem is the debris that was in the rooms that had to be removed by hand which will keep us busy for a while.
