As part of the “I Congreso para la prevención de incendios y gestión del territorio en entornos rayanos de la Red Natura 2000” (Conference for the prevention of wildfires and land management of areas near/within the Natura 2000 network) organized by Fundación Naturaleza y Hombre, Sven Kallen (Volterra Ecosystems) presented the case of Tavertet and it’s 100% circular approach. The inclusion of all actors is essential in the MycoEconomy part of Life MycoRestore and allows for added value activities. These will pay for the long term continuation of these activities and help forest fire prevention and increased resilience of forest stands. Also, this model is highly replicable in other areas of Europe. See the event agenda here.
