On December 4, project partners continued visiting and mapping demonstrative areas of the LIFE Mycorestore project, in line with its action “Mapping Forest Health” (A.1).

This time, a team composed by Álvaro Peix, Mariano Igual, Oscar González (CSIC-IRNASA), Julio Díez, Tamara Sánchez, Mariano Rodríguez, María Santos and Cristina Zamora (UVA), visited the areas of Valdelosa and El Cubo de Don Sancho, in Salamanca. During the visit, trees (cork oak and oak tree) located within the project parcels were marked and mapped using a GPS device. These trees, therefore, were registered and georeferenced for future analyses in the context of the LIFE Mycorestore project.
