As part of the project’s closing activities, a large field visit was organised to showcase IDForest’s work on truffle plantations, which aim to transform former economically declining lands into thriving ecosystems by producing several truffle varieties. These plantations not only contribute to the economic viability of the region, but also have a beneficial effect on the health of the trees. ID Forest’s work is inspiring and shows the impact that collaborative efforts can have in restoring and enhancing our natural landscapes, paving the way for a more sustainable and resilient future.
