New training sessions for replicators from France

Volterra News MycoRestore

Last week Volterra was happy to invite 2 team members of ASES Ecological and Sustainable Services from France to join our training program. ASES is active in similar activities as Volterra and has a track record of ecosystem restoration projects in France. However, to promote sustainable forestry management additional funding is always needed. Together with the Mycelio team we went through the Life Mycorestore training modules on the management of forests and biomass and on mushroom and substrate production as an added value activity. On the final day we did a run of biochar production and made compost together to “close the loop” and promote circularity on the farm. ASES will spread the learnings further in their team and will start implementing several aspects in their projects the coming months. Volterra representatives aim to visit ASES in France to further our collaboration.
