The UVA team has published in the innovative journal “Frontiers in Forests and Global Change” a scientific article entitled “Health status and diversity of the mycobiome in Mediterranean tree species”.
This study underlines the importance of Mediterranean forests and highlights the value of studying changes in the diversity of their microbiome in response to biotic and abiotic stress factors. In this context, mention is made of LIFE MycoRestore and the work carried out by the consortium in the Mediterranean forests of Spain, Italy and Portugal.
