After the soil pH monitoring carried out by IRNASA-CSIC this spring, it was possible to verify that the pH of the soils treated with calcium carbonate in 2021 began to decrease. For this reason, the IDForest team has been applying this product in some demonstration sites. These demo sites were: Valdelosa, El Cubo de Don Sancho and La Alamedilla. The main objetive of this practice was to preserve adequate pH levels in the soil to favour the fruiting of the summer truffle and to prevent the advance of Phytophthora cinnamomi.
